<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electrode terminal from being damaged at inserting of an element, in a sensor provided with a terminal connection structure, such that a long sensor elements are inserted from back side into a terminal piece holder arranged with a plurality of terminal pieces, each of which is connected with each of the electrode terminal by being pressed against the side surface of the sensor element, while deforming elastically. <P>SOLUTION: The sensor element 21 is chamfered at the corner formed by the rear end surface 27, and the side surface 26 of the electrode terminal 25 side, while the rear end 25b of the electrode terminal 25 is being formed nearer to the front than to the chamfer 28, and between the rear end 25b of the electrode terminal 25 and front end 28a of the chamfer 28, a flat surface 26b is formed. In a process of inserting the element 21, since a large force applied to the terminal piece 51 going over the chamfer 28 will not affect the rear end 25b of the electrode terminal 25, the electrode terminal 25 is prevented from being damaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
