<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead traveling vehicle system capable of confirming ID of an article on an article placement base by a relatively small number of ID readers. <P>SOLUTION: A first overhead traveling vehicle 22 provided with the ID reader 60 for reading the ID 54 of the article 50 and a communication means for communicating the read ID 54 to a control part; and a second overhead traveling vehicle not provided with the ID reader are provided. Further, a taking out means for taking out the article 50 from the article placement base is provided on the first overhead traveling vehicle 22 and ID 50 is read by the ID reader 60 in the state that the article 50 is taken out from the article placement base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
