PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light-weight optical disk drive of which the performance is stably secured as an optical disk drive, and of which the pickup module is protected from external vibration and shock. SOLUTION: In the optical disk drive, a pickup 1 of the pickup module is connected to a control substrate 3 via a flexible cable 6; the control substrate 3 is fixed to a chassis 2; a frame 5 of the pickup module is flexibly fixed only to the chassis 2 via two or more elastic bodies 7; and the chassis 2 fixed via the elastic bodies 7 located so that the connecting cable between the pickup 1 and the control substrate 3 is wrapped in the chassis 2 and the pickup module, is fixed to a device on which this device is assembled. Thus, it becomes possible to suppress the vibration small which the pickup 1 receives, and it becomes also possible to constitute the whole device to be compact and light-weight.
