PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which has a large degree of freedom of design, never possibly collides against an obstacle even when put on during a walk, and realizes color display of a display image without any problem, and is suitably put on. SOLUTION: Image display light L emitted by a projection mechanism and having its optical path changed by an optical system is guided to the eye of an observer and a virtual image is viewed. The optical system 3 has a prism array 10 arranged in front of the eye of the observer.
