PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus for reliably supplying electrical power from an insertion portion to a distal end adapter by stably maintaining electrical connection between the distal end adapter and the insertion portion when a detachable distal end adapter is mounted on the insertion portion. SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus is equipped with the thin, long, and flexible insertion portion having an electrical contact 2 on the insertion portion side and the distal end adapter 7, which is disposed to be attached to and detached from the distal end of the insertion portion and has an electrical contact 6 on the adapter side connected to the electrical contact 2 on the insertion portion side, and is characterized by the electrical contact 6 elastically deformed to conform to the shape of the electrical contact 2 by being pressed by the electrical contact 2 when the distal end adapter 7 is mounted on the insertion portion.
