PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a climbing crane supporting method favorably applicable for construction of RC structured building. SOLUTION: In this climbing crane supporting method, when constructing a multistory building of reinforced concrete structure by installing a climbing crane on the top of a constructed building frame and gradually relocating it upward with progress of construction, a precast concrete column 10 is used as a pillar of the building to be built, and brackets 11 for temporarily supporting main body receiver beams 4 (4a and 4b) are previously provided in a side surface of the precast concrete columns of the highest story. When temporarily supporting a crane main body 2 in climbing on the highest story of the constructed building frame, the crane main body 2 is temporarily supported by the brackets 11 through the main body receiver beams 4.
