The heater has a cover box closed at its front side and fastened at a side of a rail (S). The box extends between a head and base of the rail. A set of heating units is provided in connection with outside of the box. The heating units are in contact with the front side, where the heating units are designed as channels (4) for guiding liquid heating medium e.g. water, that delivers heat to the rail by convection or heat conduction. |
