<p>The invention relates to a solar sail for collecting solar energy, said solar sail comprising a composite of several flatly extending solar elements which can be freely assembled. According to the invention, the solar sail comprises a frame provided with beams (11 to 14) that are stabilized by means of tension elements (21, 22, 41, 42) und can accommodate a plurality of solar elements (30). Due to the tensioning, the beams can be of comparatively small dimensions. The invention thus provides a frame which is configured in an easy and stable manner and does not only confer a high stability to the solar sail, when in use, but also provides a good maniability during transport and storage.</p> |
