<p>A mobile body theft prevention device has an RFID tag reading unit installed on a mobile body so as not to be easily removed and an RFID tag provided on the mobile body in an easily installable and removable manner. The mobile body theft prevention device has a function of reading and checkup of specific ID information, written in the RFID tag, by the RFID reading unit. When the mobile body having the unit installed on it starts to travel, the unit receives predetermined power supply. Further, when a predetermined traveling speed is detected and when the specific RFID tag is not present in a predetermined reading zone to render checkup and reading of information on the RFID tag impossible, a warning output means, installed in the RFID tag reading unit, is caused to emit warning sound to prevent the mobile body from being stolen.</p> |
