[PROBLEMS] To provide a multilayer solid capacitor in which welding strength and reliability of product are enhanced while enhancing yield of production by suppressing spark and welding bur occurring at the time of resistance welding, and to provide its manufacturing process. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The solid electrolytic capacitor (10) comprises a plurality of capacitor elements (6) each having a main body portion (8) provided with a cathode layer formed on a part of the surface of a dielectric oxide film (2) which is formed on the surface of a metal exhibiting valve action, and an anode take-out portion (7) exposing the dielectric oxide film (2). In the solid electrolytic capacitor, the capacitor elements (6) are laid in layers and the anode take-out portions (7) of the adjacent capacitor elements (6) are secured to each other by welding, and a portion A from which the dielectric oxide film (2) is removed exists from the portion (20) of the anode take-out portions (7) secured by welding to the end portion (21).
