The inventive module comprises an intake air cooler (2) and an exhaust recirculated gas cooler (4). Said intake air cooler (2) comprises an inlet box (34) and an outlet box (36) for the intake air. An inlet duct (38) is connected to the inlet box (34) and an outlet duct (40) is connected to the outlet box (36) of the intake air cooler (2). The exhaust recirculated gas cooler (4) comprises an inlet box (74) and an outlet box (76) for the exhaust recirculated gases. An exhaust recirculated gas inlet duct (42) is connected to the exhaust recirculated gas inlet box. A first flashover bypass directly connects the inlet box to the outlet box of the exhaust recirculated gas cooler. Said invention can be used for motor vehicles.
