A check valve apparatus for a system transferring fuel is provided to improve the durability and reliability according as the valve sheet seal is made of the elastomeric material. A check valve apparatus for a system transferring fuel is composed of a poppet valve(42) formed with a polymeric material and installed with a valve stem(54) and a valve head adjacent to one end of the valve stem; and a valve sheet(44) mutually operated with the valve head of the poppet valve. The valve sheet contains a valve sheet body and a valve sheet seal supported by the valve sheet body. The valve sheet seal is made of the elastomeric material to seal up the valve head of the poppet valve. The valve body is an outlet cover of the fuel pump module.
