A device for modifying a blind point of security in a format string is provided to increase the security by searching and modifying security vulnerability of execution programs. A computer is equipped with a CPU(11), a ROM(12), a RAM(13), a display device(14), an input device(15), and a storage device(16). The storage device stores an OS(Operating System)(17) like Windows XP(eXPerience) or Linux, a format string blind point modifying device(20), and application programs. If the format string blind point modifying device is operated, the security vulnerability is checked by extracting program codes and data of execution files having '.exe' extension. In case that the security vulnerability is present, the program codes are modified.
