<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for resumption of image formation by appropriately controlling whether the transition processing to a stop state is ought to be executed or not in occurrence of execution failure in image formation by an image forming apparatus while an image forming section is under an operative state. <P>SOLUTION: Either one mode of the stop and non-stop of a motor to drive a conveyance section for conveying recording paper by a motor drive controller 12 according to the error or warning of an MFP is set (a step S1004 to a step S1006) and the elapsed time before reset by canceling the error or warning of the MFP is set (a step S1203, a step S1403). The operation of the motor drive controller 12 is controlled according to the set elapsed time (a step S1205, a step S 1405) and when the error or warning of the MFP is canceled, the operation control of the motor drive controller 12 is put back (a step S1207, a step S1407). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
