<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil capable of preventing a diameter expansion of an outer diameter by forming a wire wound odd number of times in a primary coil and appropriately storing return wires pulled out from the end of the wound wire. <P>SOLUTION: The ignition coil 1 comprises a center core, a primary coil 3, a secondary coil, and a circumferential core 5. The circumferential core 5 has a cylindrical shape and has a slit 52 at a part in a circumferential direction C of the cylindrical shape so as to be notched in the axial direction of the ignition coil 1. The primary coil 3 comprises a wound wire 33 formed by winding an insulation-coated primary wire 321 plural number of times from one side to the other side in an axial direction, and a return wire 34 formed by returning the primary wire 321 toward one side from the other side in the axial direction with the return wire part 34 arranged in the slit 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
