<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper handling device capable of reducing size of the whole device and size of a driving source by using a cutting device of rotary movable blade type, so-called shuttle cutter type. <P>SOLUTION: This paper handling device for performing predetermined handling for a carried-in paper sheet has a linear fixed blade 420 and a round blade 401 rotating while abutted on the fixed blade 420 to cut a paper sheet between the fixed blade 420 and it in a process of horizontal travel. When cutting a bundle of paper sheets by a cutter unit J arranged in the direction crossing the direction of paper conveyance orthogonally, the bundle of paper sheets is cut in the reciprocating direction to prevent chips deposited in a hopper from being collected on only one side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
