PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a continuously variable transmission which can provide a full driving force at a controlled change gear ratio in pressing the accelerator and prevent the load of an engine from increasing as well as the quality of the exhaust gas from worsening under the high load. SOLUTION: In pressing the accelerator for acceleration, the controller of the continuously variable transmission increases and corrects the target input rotational number to the higher side than a characteristic curveβof a regular shift schedule determined by an accelerator opening.
