PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive particle and an anisotropic conductive material preventing a conduction failure and reducing a resistance value for a demand for further reduction of connection resistance of a conductive particle used as an anisotropic conductive material, in association with rapid progress and development of electronic apparatuses of recent years. SOLUTION: This conductive particle comprises a base material particle and a conductive layer formed on the surface of the base material particle and containing nickel or a nickel alloy.
