PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic product allowing early diagnosis of autism from a medical field, related to the autism that has not an established sensitive biological marker, is difficult to be diagnosed, cannot be treated early and suitably, and hence causes further increase in symptoms. SOLUTION: The diagnostic product of the autism contains an anti-brain origin neurotrophic factor antibody as an effective component. The autism is diagnosed by measuring a brain origin neurotrophic factor in the blood using an antibody. Especially, the diagnosis is facilitated by measuring concentration of the brain origin neurotrophic factor in the patient blood using the anti-brain origin neurotrophic factor antibody and a labeling anti-brain origin neurotrophic factor antibody.
