PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absolute angle detector capable of detecting accurately rotation of a multirotor and provided with a mechanical speed reduction mechanism of excellent fail-safe performance. SOLUTION: This absolute angle detector is constituted of a rotation angle detecting means for detecting a rotation angle within one sector at required resolution, a sector identification means for identifying each sector, and an even-number sector/odd-number sector determination means for discriminating the one sector from other sector adjacent thereto. The even-number sector/odd-number sector determination means outputs a code of each step at the required resolution. A code permutation obtained by arraying the codes output in every of the steps according an output order comprises the repetition of unit code permutation where a code sign is inverted at least once within a prescribed step number of predetermined ranges, and the repetition of the different unit code permutation is output in response to the even-number sector or the odd-number sector.
