PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket capable of highly improving the quality of products by eliminating mixture of foreign matters into the products being on the downstream side of a filter due to the falling-off of protrusions (normally, often called as burrs or rolled-up parts or the like) of an inner ring of the gasket, and also, capable of eliminating a loss in quality and that of in production amount due to the mixture of the foreign matters in the products during the manufacture of the products. SOLUTION: The gasket 1 is formed into a hollow disk shape and its thickness is normally in the range of 0.3-1.0 mm. Preferably, the outer diameter is in the range of 50-160 mm and the inner diameter is in the range of 40-150 mm. Stainless steel is preferable as a material to be used. Especially, austenitic stainless steel (18Cr-8Ni stainless steel: for example, SUS 301 or the like) is preferable.
