PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient polypectomy device which performs a plurality of functions to cut off and collect a small polyp without repeatedly tubing equipment channels. SOLUTION: A tissue resecting tool 50, designed to be used along with an endoscope 12, comprises (a) a main body defining a passage between a distal end and a proximal end, (b) a duct 14 attached to the distal end, (c) a handle 52 including a first member which is attached to the proximal end and connected to the main body, and a second member which is slidably connected to the first member, (d) a cable assembly which is positioned inside the duct and the passage, (e) a suction assembly which is connected with the duct, and (f) a cleaning system which is connected with the duct and provided with an entry port fitted to the main body.
