A container (11) is filled with powder supplied through a charging hole (13). An opening (14) is also provided to the container. A rotor (15), installed within the container, is rotated to accelerate transport of the powder from inside the container to the printed sheet (10) via the opening. The outer circumference (12) or inner circumference (19) of the container is electro-statically induced to gather the excess powder. An independent claim is also included for a method for open powdering or dusting printed sheet.
