A multicast service providing method, system, and apparatus are provided to allow an advertiser to easily provide his/her advertisement to a purchaser and allow a subscriber to receive detailed information about goods which he/she wants to purchase. A database(310) records and maintains subscriber information and detailed target information for a multicast service. A receiving unit(320) receives service request information from a communication terminal of a subscriber or data read with respect to a certain target. A search unit(330) searches detailed target information corresponding to the received read data or subscriber information for a multicast service corresponding to the detailed target information. A transmission unit(340) transmits the read data or the detailed target information corresponding to read data to communication terminals of a plurality of subscribers corresponding to multicast service subscriber information.
