A rear covering shelf mounting structure for a vehicle is provided to simplify the configuration of the structure and allow for ease of assembly, by using a hinge hook, a hinge shaft and a fixing member. A rear covering shelf mounting structure for a vehicle, comprises a hinge hook(110) formed at a surface opposed to a pair of luggage side trims(100); a hinge shaft arranged at both sides of a rear covering shelf so that the hinge shaft is fitted into the hinge hook; and a fixing member protruded in the vicinity of the hinge shaft. One of the hinge hook and the fixing member has a stopper(118), and the other of the hinge hook and the fixing member has a stopper groove corresponding to the stopper so that the rear covering shelf rotating centering from the hinge shaft is fixed at a predetermined angle.
