<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an infrared ray receiving unit must be installed in a bathroom 1 every time an apparatus is installed on the outside of the bathroom 1 because an infrared ray cannot transmit the wall of the bathroom 1 in an infrared remote control system, while there is a request to perform an operation of a digital tuner 3 or an audio apparatus 4 in the bathroom 1 in a case where, for example, the digital tuner 3 is installed on the outside of the bathroom 1 to reproduce terrestrial digital broadcast with an existing bathroom television 2 or a case where the audio apparatus 4 is installed on the outside of the bathroom 1 to reproduce music from a speaker 41 installed in the bathroom 1. <P>SOLUTION: When an existing bathroom television 2 is in the bathroom 1, a signal which is to be output from a light-receiving section of the bathroom television 2 and is superimposed on an infrared ray to be output from a remote controller is directly output through a signal line 25 without any change. Providing light-emitting portions 26, 27 on the ends of the signal line 25 enables to control external apparatuses in the bathroom 1 without providing the new apparatuses on the outside of the bathroom 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
