<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an airbag device capable of efficiently absorbing a shock without excessively narrowing a view of an occupant. <P>SOLUTION: Airbag bag elements 42 are superimposed at superimposing portions 76 and bonded to one another with an adhesive agent 78. A state superimposed in a deploying direction is kept even in a deploying state, so that a shock can be efficiently absorbed by securing a deformation distance for absorbing the shock without increasing the size of the single airbag bag element 42.
