<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder and an image browsing method, in which slide show of image data recorded on a recording medium can be displayed appropriately, according to the type of a portable apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The recorder 1 is provided with a means of generating portable apparatus data for reproducing image data as slide show in a portable apparatus 11, in a format according to its type, and a means for transmitting the portable apparatus data to a server 13 along with the predetermined identification information. Slide show can thereby be reproduced in a computer apparatus, by using image data recorded on a recording medium 10 and an application of slide show, reproduced in a household electrical appliance 14 using household electrical appliance data recorded on the recording medium 10 and reproduced in the portable apparatus 11 by using portable apparatus data stored in the server 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
