<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve deployment efficiency of a curtain air bag, by restricting the deployment of the curtain air bag inward in a vehicle width direction. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle, an airbag unit 19 is disposed to an upper part of a side face of a vehicle compartment. The airbag unit has: an airbag 12 deploying in a time of emergency such as a collision; an inflator 13 inflating the airbag 12; and a connection part connecting the airbag 12 with the inflator 13. A guide member 1 for restricting the deployment of the airbag 12 in the vehicle width direction is disposed between the airbag 12 and a roof 9 of the vehicle, separately from the airbag unit 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
