<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas remover capable of being sealed or packed together with an article to be adversely affected even by a fine amount of gas at a ppb level with no difficulty and statically catching and removing the gas applied while the sealed or packed state continues. <P>SOLUTION: The gas remover is composed by enclosing a gas absorbent 2 inside an air permeable bag body 1 constituted with a sheet body 11a composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as a main body. The bag body 1 is constituted so as to be provided with both surfaces 10, 10 of a wide width and make a cross section flat.
