PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery fluid refilling apparatus for battery type industrial vehicle, which can suppress excessive refill. SOLUTION: The battery fluid refilling apparatus for battery type industrial vehicle comprises a refill starting means 3 which allows a refill pump 11 to operate while a battery 1 is charged; a refill stop means 4 which stops an refill operation when any one of cases is satisfied that a pressure of a refill circuit 2 rises up to a specified value or more, after a water stop valve on the side of the battery 1 is closed during the refill operation of the refill start means 3 and a refill time period being set is passed; and a refill period calculation means 8 which changes the refill time period being set initially in response to refill periods in charging of the latest several times, to reset the refill time period.
