PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of printing an image with a good quality of image as desired on the surface of the skin of a human body. SOLUTION: An apparatus for delivering ink droplets and printing the image on the skin of the human body is equipped with a measuring means for measuring data related to the color shade of the skin, and an image data converting means for converting image data of the image to be printed to the data of the amount of ink. In this printing apparatus, the image data converting means converts the image data to the data of the amount of the ink in taking the data related to the color shade measured into consideration.
