PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head with a connecting terminal group which contacts a connecting terminal group on an inkjet recorder side when the head is mounted to a recorder, and electrically connects signals including a drive signal of a recording element, wherein contacts of all the terminals are regarded as being made by detecting contacts of some of the terminals. SOLUTION: Terminals which have the greatest distance with terminals on the recorder side owing to shifting of the recording head in an arrangement area of the recording head connecting terminals H1302, i.e., connecting terminals H1302a to H1302c disposed in the corners out of the connecting terminals arranged in the planar area of a substantially rectangular shape, are used as contact detection terminals.
