PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute inter-processor communication according to the priority of messages to be sent and received and increase the throughput of inter-processor communication. SOLUTION: A multiprocessor system comprises a plurality of processors 2-1 to 2-n and a memory 3. The memory 3 is connected to each of the plurality of processors 2-1 to 2-n to store messages sent from each of the plurality of processors 2-1 to 2-n to others. The memory 3 has a plurality of prioritized buffer areas A/B corresponding to a plurality of priority levels of message classification.
