PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of toner particles improved in coloring power, charging property, low-temperature fixing property and transferability. SOLUTION: In the production method of the toner particles, a mixed solution prepared by dissolving or dispersing a toner composition containing at least a binder resin, a colorant and a wax in an organic solvent is suspended/granulated in an aqueous medium to remove the organic solvent, and the dispersibility of the colorant is improved in the suspension/granulation method by adding a compound having an amide group and a zinc phthalocyanine compound to the toner composition.
