PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent catching and clogging in a post-stage by catching, winding and separating string-like metal in a stage of discharging a pyrolyzed residue from a pyrolyzing kiln. SOLUTION: A pyrolyzed residue take-out device 31 is provided at an intermediate part of a pyrolyzed residue line 14 for taking the pyrolyzed residue 11 out of the pyrolyzing kiln 1. The pyrolyzed residue take-out device 31 is constituted by arranging a screw 36 in a casing 35 so as to be supported in a cantilever manner, and mounting a string-like metal winder 32 detachably to the tip part of the screw 36. The string-like metal mixed in the pyrolyzed residue 11 is caught, wound and separated by the string-like metal winder 32 prior to rotating the screw 36 to convey the pyrolyzed residue 11 in the casing 35 and to discharge it to a discharge chute 34.
