PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bathtub hot water temperature from not becoming a heating set temperature caused by cooling in a return pipe of a circulation pipe, or a short circuit in a bathtub. SOLUTION: The water heater is provided with a heating temperature setting means for setting the heating temperature of a bathtub 1, a bath adapter 5 provided in the bathtub 1 and connected to a pipe, and a hot water temperature sensor provided in the bath adapter to detect a temperature in the bathtub 1. A signal of the temperature detected by the hot water temperature sensor is received by a receiver of the water heater from a radio transmitter provided in the bath adapter, and the temperature of the bathtub is controlled by a controller in the water heater in response to the temperature set by the heating temperature setting means.
