PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an elastic ring for improving projecting property of a vane from touching a side plate in a vane pump. SOLUTION: When the vane 33 retreats along a cam surface of a cam ring and compresses the elastic ring 36, motion of the elastic ring 36 to an opening parts side of the annular groove 34 by making force in a rotor rotary shaft axial direction and force in a direction to a bottom part of an annular groove 34 act on the elastic ring 36 by an inner end surface 33b of the inclined vane 33.
