PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety by preventing an overturning accident, by enabling a wheel crane for suspending this unit to separately travel and move by raising up and bringing down a boom, without delaying work by quickly performing separation work, by providing a base rock crushing unit for easily separating a part below a leader part. SOLUTION: This base rock crushing unit is composed of a suspending block, a hollow cylindrical leader, a main slide sheave block and a sub-slide sheave block for vertically sliding along its leader, and an extracting device. In the base rock crushing unit, the leader 2 and the suspending block 5 are separably connected, and a separation block 23 for installing extracting main wire sheaves 24 and 24 laid around with an extracting main wire 28, is separably fixed to the main slide sheave block 20 between extracting main wire sheaves 12 and 12 installed in the suspending block 6.
