PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive martensitic stainless steel sheet excellent in various properties for automotive structures. SOLUTION: The martensitic stainless steel sheet for automotive structures has a composition which consists of, by mass,≤0.015% C, 0.02 to 0.4% Si, 1.0 to 3.0% Mn,≤0.04% P, 0.001 to 0.010% S, >0.001 to 0.02% Al,≤0.015% N, 12 to 14% Cr, 0.5 to <1.5% Ni, 0.5 to <2% Mo, >0.2 to 2% Cu, 0.0001 to 0.0010% Ca and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and in which C and N satisfy the relation of C+N≤0.02% and Al and S satisfy the relation of 9×Al+19×S≤0.199 and C, N, Ni, Cu, Mn, Cr, Si, Al and Mo are contained in such a way that the value ofγp represented by the equation,γp=420[%C]+470[%N]+23[%Ni]+9[%Cu]+7[%Mn]-11.5[%Cr]-11.5[%Si]-52[%Al]-12[%Mo]+189 becomes≥80.
