PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously produce metal foil having uniform thickness at low cost in an electroplating device in which both electrode parts using divided anode plates are relatively movable. SOLUTION: In the device where an anode part and a cathode part are arranged relatively movably so as to be opposed to each other with a fixed gap, a plating liquid is circulated between both the electrodes, and they are conducted, thus metal is electrolytically precipitated over the face to be plated in the cathode part, and is successively peeled from the face to be plated so as to continuously obtain metal foil, the anode plate constituting the anode part is divided into a plurality of pieces, and are arranged in parallel so as to be tilted in the moving direction of the face to be plated.
