PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric pressor for a sewing machine capable of reliably pressing a fabric in response to the change of thickness of the fabric in every direction even in the fabric of a workpiece having the change of the thickness of the fabric in a direction which is orthogonally crossed with a fabric feeding direction and also in a direction which is the same as the fabric feeding direction, and also capable of preventing a seam jump and a string cut. SOLUTION: The fabric pressor comprises: a pressor bar 9 which is supported by the arm part of a sewing machine body, so as to be vertically movable, and is normally energized to be pushed down by spring members; two main pressor feet 10, 11 which are respectively attached to the lower end of the pressor bar 9 side by side in a direction to be orthogonally crossed with the fabric feeding direction, so as to be vertically movable, having notched groove parts 37, 38 arranged in the fabric feeding direction from the near side of the fabric feeding direction; and a plurality of auxiliary pressor feet 12-15 which are respectively stored in the groove parts of the respective main pressor feet, pivotally supported to the near side of the groove parts, so as to be freely rotatable concerning each base part, energized by the spring members 47-50, so as to pressurize the fabric concerning each distal end part, provided with needle drop holes 41-44 at the distal end parts, and equipped with fabric pressure surfaces 12a-15a in the periphery of the needle drop holes, which are formed to be a downward projecting curved surface.
