The arrangement has a min. of one heat exchanger for the exhaust gas flow, and for the charging air flow. At least one exchanger for each flow form part of a common low temperature coolant circuit (NK). The exchangers are switched in parallel. The circuit also contains a pump (ZWP), which can be regulated or switched, and is located in front of the branch-off of the low temperature coolant circuit. Part of the coolant circuit is an air-cooled low temperature cooler (NKK). A regulated throttle valve (DV) controls the coolant flow in the circuit. During low and average engine loads and RPM, more than 50% of the coolant is supplied to the exhaust gas cooler (AGK), and during high loads and RPM, esp. under full load, more than 50% is supplied to the charging air cooler (LLK). |
