A light diffusion film is provided and includes: a transparent plastic film; a light diffusion layer formed from a curable composition containing a leveling agent ant particles having an average particle diameter of 1.0 mum to 15 mum, the light diffusion layer having an average thickness of 1.0 mum to 40 mum. The light diffusion film has a haze of 3% or more and point defects, which has a shape capable of surrounding a circle having a diameter of 100 mum in the average number of 2.0/10 m² or less.
