LOCATION CERTIFYING SYSTEM

An arbitrary verifier can verifies mobile node location information in a location use service system or the like. The location certifying system is formed by an object O, a provider S, and a location certifying authority LCA, and a verifier V. The provider S provides a primary location token LT certifying the location of the object O to the object O. The object O passes a request message RM containing the primary location token LT and conversion information TI to the location certifying authority LCA. The location certifying authority LCA verifies the primary location token LT and converts it into a secondary location token LT' which can be verified by a verifier V before passing it to the object O. The object O passes the converted secondary location token LT' to the verifier V. The verifier V can verify the secondary location token LT'.
