<p>A system and method for treating biogas, with the aim of drying moist biogas in a ready-to-use system constructed in a single framework at an engineering workshop. Drying takes place in heat exchangers (1 and 2), where the moisture present in cooled moist biogas condenses. The heat exchangers (1 and 2) are installed vertically in relation to their primary circuits, such that the moist biogas flows from bottom to top, and such that the moisture which is condensed runs from top to bottom into a receptacle (3). The first heat exchanger (1) uses the biogas which has already been dried as a coolant, at the same time heating the dried biogas before it is removed from the system. The second heat exchanger (2) uses coolant coming from an external cooler. The rest of the condensed fluid runs from the dehydrator (4), along a vertical pipe (5) and through an anti-siphon valve (6), into a receptacle (3). The receptacle (3), is equipped with an automatic system which maintains the level of liquid within allowable limits to prevent the loss of pressure in the system. The anti-siphon valve (6) is also used to prevent pressure drops in the system.</p> |
