A fixing instrument and a monitor fixing device are provided to easily mount or remove an installed arbitrary monitor by a user, thereby enhancing the user's convenience. A mounting member(11) is positioned at the front of a stand(10) and protruded forwardly. When the mounting member is forwardly moved, hooks(311,312) are combined with flanges(323,324) so that flanges are closed. When the mounting member is backwardly pushed, cam followers(344,364) are downwardly located and contacted with guide blocks(314,315). At the open state, because the flanges are closed to the maximum, a monitor hook(33) is not contacted with the hooks and passed through the insides of the hooks. |
