<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent thermoplastic resin material having remarkably small refractive index variation by temperature, and also to provide a non-aqueous fine particle dispersion suitably used in the dispersion of inorganic fine particles in a resin, and further to provide a thermoplastic composite material and an optical element which are formed by the use of the dispersion, and have improved optical properties. <P>SOLUTION: The non-aqueous fine particle dispersion is formed in a solvent and comprises noncrystalline inorganic fine particles having a modified surface are dispersed in a non-polar solvent in a state where the particles have an average particle diameter of 1 nm to 30 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
