<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-sized golf club head, having a wide sweet spot and great latitude by re-distributing the center of gravity. <P>SOLUTION: A hollow golf club head with a concave portion is disclosed. The club head includes: a metallic portion; and a light weight portion formed of plastic, composite material or the like. The concave portion allows the club designer to make a club head having a very thin portion while keeping indispensable structural integrity.
