<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector attaining a light emitting diode (LED) with a luminance higher than the conventional one at a low cost and having excellent moldability without a temperature rise and oxidation/sulfurization, compared with a conventional metal plated layer as a light reflecting layer used for LED packages or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A reflector for LED has a reflecting surface having at least two kinds of thermoplastic resins that are alternately laminated in a thickness direction in thirty layers or more, and having a maximum reflectance in the range of a wavelength of 250 nm to 2,600 nm of 60% or more. The yield stress in the lengthwise and widthwise directions is 110 MPa or less, and the fracture stress in the lengthwise and widthwise directions is 250 MPa or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
